LRS Gallery

In-process artwork reservations

RESERVATION OF IN-PROCESS ARTWORK

From time to time, LRS Gallery or Lane Ross-Sheffield may share an artwork publicly while it is still being created.

An unfinished artwork may be reserved with a deposit equal to 50% of the stated purchase price. The reservation deposit is applied toward the final purchase price and is non-refundable.

A reservation is not a commission. The buyer may express interest or feedback, but the artwork remains Lane Ross-Sheffield’s independent creative work. The artist retains full discretion over its continued development, composition, colors, materials and final appearance.

The balance of the purchase price, together with applicable shipping, insurance, packing, crating, taxes and other charges, must be paid by the deadline stated on the final invoice and before the artwork is released for pickup or shipment.

If the buyer cancels, declines the completed artwork, fails to make the remaining payment or otherwise fails to complete the purchase, the reservation will be released and the deposit will be retained.

If the artist or LRS Gallery determines that the artwork cannot be completed or delivered, the reservation deposit will be returned, unless the inability to complete the transaction resulted from the buyer’s breach or failure to perform.

Any projected completion date is an estimate and is not guaranteed. LRS Gallery will provide reasonable notice of a material delay.

All completed reserved artworks are final sale.
