SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

Shipping Origin

Original artwork is shipped from the LRS Gallery studio in Dallas, Texas, or Mount Pleasant, Texas, depending on the location of the artwork at the time of purchase.

Shipping Methods

Unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing, artwork is shipped through FedEx or UPS. Every shipment must be insured for the full purchase value of the artwork.

Shipping, Insurance and Packing Costs

Shipping charges are separate from the listed price of the artwork unless expressly stated otherwise.

The buyer is responsible for all expenses associated with delivery, including carrier charges, insurance, handling, custom crating, specialized packing and any other services reasonably necessary to transport the artwork safely.

Required insurance will be included in the shipping quote. If specialized packing or crating is required, LRS Gallery will obtain or prepare an appropriate quote before the artwork is released for shipment.

Shipping charges may be collected during checkout or invoiced separately. All artwork, shipping, insurance, packing and handling charges must be paid in full before the artwork is shipped.

Preparation and Fulfillment

In-stock artwork is ordinarily prepared for shipment within 3–10 business days after cleared payment and confirmation of shipping arrangements.

Artwork requiring custom crating or specialized packing may require additional preparation time. Reserved works and commissioned works will be shipped only after the artwork has been completed, all amounts have been paid and the buyer has received notice that the work is ready.

These timeframes refer to preparation and fulfillment and do not guarantee a carrier’s delivery date.

If LRS Gallery cannot ship within a previously confirmed timeframe, the buyer will be notified and provided with an updated estimate and any options required by applicable law.

Delivery

Tracking information will be provided when available. A signature may be required at delivery.

The buyer is responsible for providing a correct, secure and accessible delivery location and for being available to receive the shipment. Additional carrier charges resulting from an incorrect address, missed delivery, storage, redelivery or special delivery request are the buyer’s responsibility.

Risk of Loss and Carrier Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer when the properly packed and insured artwork is tendered to the carrier.

LRS Gallery is not responsible for loss, delay or damage occurring while an artwork is in the possession of FedEx, UPS, a freight company, packing provider or another third-party carrier.

LRS Gallery will make every reasonable effort to assist the buyer with a carrier or insurance claim, including providing available shipping records and initiating a claim when the carrier or insurer requires the claim to be submitted by the shipper. Claim approval, processing time and the amount of any recovery remain subject to the carrier’s or insurer’s rules and determination.

Any payment or resolution for a lost or damaged shipment is limited to the amount ultimately approved and paid by the carrier or insurer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Damage Reporting

The buyer must inspect the shipment immediately upon delivery.  Visible package damage should be photographed and noted with the carrier before the shipment is accepted.

The buyer must retain:

• The artwork
• All exterior and interior packaging
• The shipping label
• All packing and crating materials
• Photographs of the package and artwork as delivered

Loss or damage must be reported to LRS Gallery at contact@lrsgallery.com within 48 hours of delivery or discovery. Discarding packaging or failing to provide requested documentation may prevent the carrier or insurer from approving a claim.

Artwork may not be returned without written authorization from LRS Gallery.

Local Pickup

Local pickup from the applicable Dallas or Mount Pleasant studio may be available by prior appointment. The buyer assumes responsibility for the artwork after accepting it at pickup.

International Shipping

International shipping may be available with prior approval. The buyer is responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges and other destination fees.

International delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by customs processing, carrier operations or local requirements.

Carrier Delays

LRS Gallery is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, natural events, labor interruptions, incorrect delivery information or circumstances outside the gallery’s reasonable control.
